Virginia Stage Company's main-stage productions adhere to the following Virginia English Standards of Learning requirements for grades 4-11:

Reading

Grade Four

4.4 The student will expand vocabulary when reading.

b) Use knowledge of roots, affixes, synonyms, antonyms, and homophones.

d) Maintain consistent verb tense across paragraphs.
