Our Summer Theatre Camp offers more than just a place to spend summer days. It is a place for your child to learn and grow.

ATTENDANCE POLICY:

It is important that students are here every day of class and arrive on time. If a child needs to miss a day of camp or will be late, please let Virginia Stage Company know in advance with as much notice as possible. If a child misses a day of camp, tuition will not be prorated.

WHAT TO BRING:

Campers will need to pack a snack/lunch and drink for each day of camp. No microwave will be accessible. Please also include any utensils your child may need. We encourage students to bring a water bottle. During camp scripts will be distributed to campers as the play is being developed. Students will be expected to return each day with their scripts.

WHAT TO WEAR:

Campers should dress comfortably, but please, NO FLIP-FLOPS or CROCS. Please be aware that our students move a lot and sit on the floor for some parts of their classes and workshops.

FINAL DAY:

On the last day, campers will share their production with family and friends. The 30 minute performance will begin at 5:30PM on the final Friday of each camp in the Wells Theatre. Since Sessions 2 & 3 and 4 & 5 run concurrently, they will present the same evening with a brief intermission.
