BOOK SIGNING - The Ghostly Tales of Haunted Coastal Virginia
The Wells Theatre has seen a lot in its 100+ years.
Apparently, some of it never left.
This Saturday, join Virginia author Joe Tennis at the Wells Theatre for a special book signing celebrating the release of his newest book, The Ghostly Tales of Haunted Coastal Virginia.
And yes… the Wells is in the book.
Joe shares tales of four ghosts said to haunt the Wells, including the mysterious Lady in White, whose story comes from a chilling encounter experienced by an actor inside the theater.
The book ventures beyond the Wells, too, with ghostly tales from across Hampton Roads involving pirates, witches, mysterious noises, vanishing cats, and spirits that may still be hanging around.
Joe will be at the Wells from 1–6 PM on Saturday, September 19, signing books and sharing stories. Copies of The Ghostly Tales of Haunted Coastal Virginia will be available for purchase.
The book signing is FREE and open to the public. No theatre ticket required. Just stop by the Wells and discover a different side of this historic Norfolk landmark.
Of course, if you’re joining us for Come From Away that day, you may find yourself looking around the theatre a little differently afterward…
Saturday, September 19 | 1–6 PM

Come for the ghost stories. Stay to see if you spot anyone who isn’t on the guest list.
