When is a fence more than just a fence? In this hilarious and topical comedy, a rising attorney, Pablo, and Tania his pregnant, PhD candidate wife clash with their well-intentioned neighbors and learn that sometimes the small things in life represent a lot more. The ensuing battle of tossed words and acorns challenges the characters and audience to examine their views on race, affluence, and influence, as it shines a light on just what it means to be a good neighbor.
This production is recommended for ages 14 and up due to mild adult themes and language.

Adapted from Nobel Prize and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Toni Morrison's first novel, The Bluest Eye follows Pecola, a young girl in Ohio in the 1940s, who is pregnant at her father's hands. The play, both poetic and daringly funny - even as it breaks your heart - takes us through not only the whys of Pecola's story but also the hows. Character driven, with actors playing multiple roles, Pecola is taken in by a loving family. The two brilliant and kind sisters at the heart of it, Frieda and Claudia, look out for her and walk us through the exquisite storytelling. A story that looks at how the world might break us or give us the light to grow.
This production may be inappropriate for children under 13 due to tough subject matter.

This Tony Award Winning masterpiece musical premiered at Virginia Stage Company in 1989 before its acclaimed Broadway run. Based on Frances Hodgson Burnett’s beloved children’s novel, this magical tale follows lonely orphan Mary Lennox, who is sent to live with her uncle on the Yorkshire moors and discovers renewed life, for herself and her sickly cousin, in bringing a secret garden back to life. Soon returning to Broadway, this is a rare opportunity to see and hear this gorgeous music performed live before it heads back to the great white way. Presented as a staged concert version of the musical in collaboration with the Norfolk Botanical Garden, this performance will pay homage to the beautiful music, lyrics, and Pulitzer Prize winner Marsha Norman’s script. Cast includes Broadway veterans Kate Fahrner (Wicked) and Craig Waletzko (Guys and Dolls).

Matt Densky is no stranger to Christmas shows. In addition to having previously played this role at Music Theatre of CT, Densky has also performed as Young Max in How the Grinch Stole Christmas! at Madison Square Garden and most recently as Sky in Kris Kringle - The Musical at NYC's Town Hall. Other credits include Flotsam/Scuttle in the US Regional Premiere of Disney's The Little Mermaid at Tuacahn Amphitheatre, as well as recent regional productions of The Rocky Horror Show (Riff Raff), Rock of Ages (Franz), The Full Monty (Malcolm), Man of La Mancha (Sancho), and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Puck). Matt holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Cincinnati - College Conservatory of Music and is a proud member of AEA.
